Position Overview:
Entrust is currently looking for a Sr. PKI Engineer to join our Cloud Services team.  This position will be based in our Kanata office and will report to the Director, Cloud Service Delivery.  Cloud Service Delivery is responsible for the build out of all the data center and infrastructure components of the cloud offering as well as the build out of new releases and onboarding of new clients onto Cloud Services.  Cloud Services is comprised of five verticals:  Entrust Certificate Services (ECS), PKI, IdentityGuard (IDG), Operations Support Systems (OSS), and Infrastructure.

This Sr. PKI Engineer Engineer role will serve as a key member of the Cloud Services Operations team and will be responsible for the deployment and operations of Entrust’s PKI Cloud Service offerings.  This PKI program includes a wide array of dedicated and shared certificate authorities and many different supporting services.  In addition, it provides the backend CAs for Entrust ECS and IDG Cloud Services.  This role will work very closely with the SSL Architect and members of the mPKI team, as well as the rest of the Cloud Services Operations team to ensure all PKI builds and releases are deployed efficiently, consistently, and to a high standard.
·       Work with the SSL team to complete the detailed design and deployment of PKI service initiatives.
·       Build new PKI services, features or supporting tools and infrastructure.
·       Validate that all application flows are fully documented, completed, and tested.
·       Deploy new releases for existing PKI Services through entire environment landscape.
·       Update Build Books and templates as required.
·       Perform application sanity testing all new PKI Services and new releases.
·       Perform system testing of all new PKI Services and new releases.
·       Ensure PKI services will fulfill resiliency and disaster recovery requirements.
·       Manage activities with complete integrity and in accordance with the organization's policies, systems, practices and programs.
·       Provide escalation assistance as required during Operations to resolve any significant PKI related issues that may arise.

Basic Qualifications
·       College or University Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline or equivalent work experience
·       5+ years IT experience
·       3+ years of High Availability, High Security, Internet Data Centre Experience and the requisite rigour needed to operate in that environment
·       Strong PKI experience using Entrust software or competitor software such as Microsoft Certificate Services, EJBCA or OpenCA.
·       Detailed documentation skills and experience
·       Strong organization skills and detail-oriented
·       Excellent problem solving skills
·       Experience with Red Hat Directory Services or other Directory technology.
·       Design and deployment experience with most of the following technologies:  Apache Tomcat, VMWare, Red Hat Linux, PostgreSQL, and Safenet HSMs.
·       Must have unrestricted work authorization for Canada and ability to travel freely
·       Must be eligible to obtain a federal government security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:
·       Entrust’s PKI product experience
·       Knowledge of ITSM/ITIL
·       Global/International Data Center experience
·       Project coordination experience
