Position Overview:
The Business Process Analyst, part of the Strategy Execution and Business Process Improvement team at Entrust Datacard, is responsible for helping drive key initiative and for development and continuous improvement of tools and processes utilized across the organization and in all functions.  This position applies sound project management, troubleshooting, and root cause corrective action skills to define, manage and execute project initiatives and deliver improvements to key business processes.  The Business Process Analyst will perform the responsibilities detailed below and other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities:
Project Management                                                                                                                     50%
  • Organizes efforts of technical and non-technical personnel to drive initiatives and process improvements
  • Develops project plans and manages activities against their deadlines
  • Utilizes influencing, presenting, and training skills in leading improvement efforts
  • Engages team members through consistent and shared accountability
  • Manages scope and report out on project team progress
  • Performs cost and benefit analyses
 Business Process Excellence                                                                                                   50%
  • Organizes, leads and facilitates project teams by partnering with all functions of the business
  • Plans, performs and implements continuous improvement initiatives to new and existing processes
  • Provides consultation on the use of re-engineering techniques to improve process performance and product quality
  • Facilitates or helps facilitate working sessions on continuous improvement or cost reduction projects
  • Collects data to identify root cause of problems, measures performance against process requirements and aligns improvement to performance shortfalls
  • Partners with the IT organization (when necessary) to understand, analyze, and make recommendations to ensure information systems are properly supporting business processes
 Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Demonstrated analytical, research, and reporting skills
  • Demonstrated experience with process improvement and project management methodologies
  • Self-starter, passionate and possessing high energy to drive change 
  • Disciplined, structured and logical approach to problem solving
  • Proven record of delivery against deadlines
  • Must be able to lawfully work within the US and have unrestricted work authorization for US
