Position Overview:
The FII solution marketing director owns the market analysis, go to market strategy development and execution to ensure attainment of annual financial targets for the FII solution segment. Successful candidate will bring a disciplined, business-oriented approach to the marketing function with a keen focus on developing our market penetration and revenues globally.  He or she should have B2B software marketing experience for banking and/or retail environments and a track record of delivering quantifiable business-impacting results. The director should operate with a sense of urgency, be an effective leader and influencer in a matrixed environment, and be particularly effective in working with a sales organization to build the solution category and create customer demand.
  • Responsible for market research and analysis programs, including customer satisfaction/NPS studies, concept testing programs, and needs assessment. Has the ability to synthesize information and insight into the "so what", identifying business implications and actions.
  • Works closely with field marketing and sales teams globally to analyze and prioritize markets, identify target accounts and partners, provide competitive intelligence to sales, and track and support sales pipeline development.
  • Develops solution value prop and story, buyer personas, sales journey maps, along with related sales materials and campaigns to facilitate effective prospect engagement and speed the sales cycle.
  • Identifies thought leadership strategy and opportunities, working with analyst and PR functional teams to execute.
  • Develops creative, attention getting demand generation campaigns to nurture targeted enterprise accounts and secure net new leads in small/mid-market FI space.
  • Builds relationships with key ecosystem partners (such as core systems providers) to facilitate business growth.
  • Serves as a solution subject matter expert as needed for internal and external purposes (trade shows, client presentations, etc).
  • Develops and tracks business-impact metrics for all marketing initiatives and spend, with ultimate goal of building brand awareness and speeding time to revenue through the sales process.
  • Develops and maintains the FII global marketing calendar and metrics dashboard.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in B2B software solution marketing/enterprise selling to banking or retail environments.
  • Strong problem solving, writing, and communication skills.
  • Comfortable working closely with sales and participating in client and partner presentations.
  • Ability to motivate, lead, and influence cross-functional teams.  Effective operating at both the strategic and tactical levels.
  • Ability to travel up to 30%
  • Must be able to lawfully work within the US and have unrestricted work authorization for US
