Entrust Datacard is currently looking for a Cloud Services Engineer to join our Managed Services team.  This fulltime position is based in our Dallas, Texas office.
Entrust Datacards’ Cloud Services run a software-as-a-service (SaaS) offering out of state-of-the-art data centres. Reporting to the Director, Cloud Service Delivery, USA, the Cloud Service Engineer will be responsible for maintaining existing Cloud Services as well as deploying PKI/SSL/IDG solutions for new customers.
  • Maintain existing cloud services – patch existing systems, deploy new components based on customer demand
  • Design or provide specifications for hardware/software
  • Analyze, install, acquire, modify and support operating systems, databases or utilities software
  • Perform product evaluations and make product recommendations
  • Identify and implement improvements to our systems (performance, security, etc.). Implement system enhancements (software/hardware updates) that will improve the performance and reliability of the system
  • Perform incident analysis and resolution
  • Participation in the on-call rotation
  • Perform problem analysis following any service issues to prevent recurrence
Basic Qualifications
  • 1+ year experience in a technical role
  • Linux experience
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMWare ESX
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Familiarity with a scripting language, such as Python, Perl, bash, or PowerShell
  • Must have unrestricted authorization to work in US
Preferred Qualifications:
  • College or university graduate with degree in IT
  • Familiarity with PKIs and related technologies (LDAP directories, HSMs, OCSP) and security practices
  • Working knowledge of Entrust suite of PKI/SSL/IDG products (training will be provided, if required)
  • Working knowledge of RedHat Directory Services.
  • Experience delivering enterprise-scale technical service via IaaS-enabled infrastructures.
  • Hands-on experience with Safenet or nCipher Hardware Security Modules
  • Knowledge of networking and network devices (Cisco, Juniper)
  • CCNA, RHCE, VCP, CISSP or similar certification
  • Active "Reliability" level security clearance
