Position Overview:
Entrust Datacard is currently looking for a Marketing Program Manager to join our Marketing team in Shakopee, MN or Dallas, TX.  We are looking for a Marketing Program Manager with experience creating and executing marketing campaigns and efforts that drive prospective customers through the sales cycle as efficiently and effectively as possible.  This position creates, implements and manages marketing program activities designed to generate demand, product awareness, brand identity, support solution-based-selling, drive business opportunities and stimulate sales for Entrust Datacard.  This position will focus on marketing identity solutions through our suite of products.
Working closely with product experts within the company, the Marketing Program Manager translates technical information into targeted communications strategies.  The Marketing Program Manager plans and delivers external communications to our customers, partners, industry and media designed to positively impact the external brand image, identity and promotion, communicate the messages of the company, and drives sales opportunities.
Responsibilities:
Develop Strategic Marketing Plans - 35%
  • Design high-engagement, multi-touch campaign plans primarily using digital marketing channels for demand generation and brand awareness and progress the audience through the sales cycle
  • Assist in setting marketing campaign goals and define metrics for measurement of campaign performance. Own the creative strategy and execution of campaign themes and messages. Create partner marketing campaigns and assets that support awareness and drive sales through partner channels.
  • Assist in the development of value proposition/audience segmentation messaging to develop campaigns.
  • Identify and monitor competitors and research market conditions for changes in the industry; determine brand perception.
Execute Marketing Plans - 35%
  • Oversee production of content and key campaign assets including customer facing promotional materials as well as internal content (e.g. advertisements, videos, emails, social media and online campaigns).
  • Assist in the creation of the content required for each phase of the sales cycle by having a thorough understanding of the audience's needs and motivators.
  • Implement campaigns that utilize all appropriate mediums (email, landing pages, SEO and SEM, social media, banner ads, mobile, etc.)
Report & Analyze Performance - 20%
  • Monitor campaign results to stay on top of your campaign goal performance.  Use that information to make improvements to existing and future campaigns.
Marketing Support Activities - 10%
  • Provide campaign expertise and content support to the sales teams.
  • Manage, direct and evaluate vendors and agencies working with Entrust Datacard on marketing projects.
Further specifics on the position responsibilities include:
  • Lead the development of global marketing communications plans and strategies to support the communications and promotion of instant issuance products, solutions, technologies, services and programs.  Work closely with vertical marketing & product management teams to define marketing strategies; develop communications tools to deliver messages to global audiences including direct and indirect sales channels, customers, prospects and other audiences.
  • Develop and execute an effective mix of marketing communications and content strategies including messaging and positioning, collateral, sales tools, presentations, press releases, whitepapers, articles, social media, video, infographics to educate, inform and engage target audiences
  • Rapidly synthesize complex information and produce high-quality content to effectively create and map marketing communications and content strategies to the sales cycle
  • Collaborate and lead cross-functional teams with regional marketing communications, public relations and content, web marketing, regional sales teams, product management teams, vertical marketing teams, sales partners, etc.
  • Manage creative development process by developing creative briefs, timelines and approving creative execution to ensure consistency with brand standards
  • Develop and manage content calendars for speaking engagements, press releases, social media posts, advertising, campaigns, etc.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams as a marketing resource for concept development, idea generation, planning and leadership. Collaborate with global colleagues at various levels in the organization as well as external parties to implement effective marketing and content programs.
  • Plan, manage and track marketing communication projects against budget on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.
  • Manage and negotiate with external vendors to design, write, print, place, place marketing media and perform project management through outside agencies and vendors.
  • Create messaging and graphics for ads
Basic Qualifications
  • Knowledge of a wide range of marketing techniques and concepts.
  • Five or more years of general marketing experience, with proven working experience in digital marketing.
  • Requires a Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing or Public Relations.
  • Must be able to lawfully work within the US and have unrestricted work authorization for US
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Business to Business (B2B) Marketing Experience
  • Eloqua Marketing Automation experience
  • Experience with SiriusDecisions campaign framework
  • Security, Payments and/or Banking industry knowledge and marketing experience
  • Technology capabilities:
    • Proficient with MS Office applications: Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint
    • Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience in several key marketing disciplines such as product marketing, campaign marketing, corporate and regional (country) marketing.
