Business Analyst – Oracle Supply Chain and Transportation Management   REQ# 5751
The Business Analyst partners with assigned customer group(s) on complex technology issues or projects. The incumbent performs a variety of complicated tasks including reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating business systems and user needs, where a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. The Business Analyst forms a team and interviews all stakeholders to determine business and technical requirements for a proposed project. The Business Analyst leads a team to successfully convert them into requirement documents, then leading the team through test case creation, issue resolution, testing, and moving to production.  The Business Analyst conducts regular analysis of business processes and recommends technical or procedural improvements based on previous experience.  The Business Analyst will perform the accountabilities detailed below and other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience working as a Business Analyst in a Oracle environment with multiple modules
  • Experience supporting R12 Oracle eBusiness Suite; specifically:
    • Oracle eBusiness Suite - Supply Chain Applications
      • Inventory
      • Warehouse Management
      • Shipping Execution
      • Mobile Supply Chain Applications (MSCA)
    • 3rd Party Transportation Management and Compliance Systems
      • Transportation Management
      • Trade Compliance
      • Denied Party Screening
  • Experience leading large, and small scale projects, with international participation
  • Knowledge of project management tools and techniques
  • Knowledge of MS Office products and related software programs is essential
  • Knowledge of SQL or PL/SQL and Relevant tools.
  • Proven written and verbal communications skills
  • Understanding of the interactions between various Oracle applications
  • Explicitly understands business analysis concepts; including requirements planning, management, elicitation, communication, documentation, and solution validation
  • Strong customer orientation and commitment to quality
  • Ability to juggle competing demands and priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail
  • Must have unrestricted work authorization for US
 Preferred Qualifications
  • B.S. Degree in computer science, information systems, or business
  • Experience with supporting eBusiness Suite and knowledge of; Specifically:
    • Order Management and Advanced Pricing
    • Oracle EBS Table Schema
    • Oracle APEX
    • XML Integration techniques
    • FedEx Server v12+ integration
    • 3PL Providers
    • Manifesting and End of Day Procedures
  • Experience With Precision (QAD) Transportation Management and Compliance Systems, both Windows and WEB UI
  • Experienced in leading a team in developing business and test case documents along with a cost/benefit analysis
  • Experience supporting a global client base
